HUMINGBIRD BAKERY

I love, love, love Hummingbird bakery-beats Lola by far. The cute little shop is located in South Kensington- and is always packed without fail. My ultimate favourite is the classic Red Velvet cup cake- I could eat a dozen!!! I am dieing to try the cheese cake brownie-I will let you all know how it goes! lol...the only negative is the limited seating area...so grab your cupcake and go for a stroll on Old Brompton Road...or even a jog! lol ...5 stars for me!

THE LUXE SPITALFIELDS

The Luxe, is owned by Master chef judge John Tarode, located in the contemporary location of Spitalfields. There is a ground floor style cafe with terrace garden- serving anglo-austrailian style food and a basement bar which is a cool music venue-offering a large range of drinks and cocktails. Luxe is a great breakfast and brunch spot-I tried the fish burger and fries, was really light and tasty..Its a cool place, has nice ambience..and gets packed in the evenings....My only criticism would be the high price point...which is too much for what is being offered on the food menu...(thumbs down!), and ratings dropped slightly to 2.5 stars! x

TAMARIND MAYFAIR

REVIEW COMING SOON.

TAYYABS GRILL

Tayyabs is a pakistani grill curry house, famous for the legendary marinated lamb chops. It is in a perfect location of the city, and costs less than a tenner per head-if you choose wisely!. I've been quite a few times, and every time, we had to wait even after making a booking! Bit off putting....and peak times is a no-no if you want a calm and consistent experience. No doubt the food is great and the lassies are yummy and there is a buzzing atmosphere, the down side is the long waiting time and slow service...Personally it is a bit overated and hyped....not my favourite and this is reflected in my ratings-2 stars! x
p.s got charged for poppadums when I did not order them, but ate them anyway! lol...be carefull what the waiters bring to your table-they will try and sneakly lure you in.....!Naughty!

GUANABANA CARIBEAN & LATIN

NEW PICS ADDED!!! x
Amazing Carribbean Food and a Funky little Restaurant at the heart of Camden.
If you love jerk chicken with rice and peas or steak and mash -this is a must try, plus they are halal and the ambience is really chilled...they have a really nice garden where you can enjoy sheesha-for all those sheesha lovers!
The restaurant itself is very retro with nice decor. Superb cocktails and couldnt fault the service at all, and the prices was okay for the whole alfresco dining experience-I couldnt really complain and I am quite difficult to please.... So I am going to rate it 4.5 out of 5 stars!. Try the lychee mohitio that was my favourite! And try book in advance as they are pretty busy on the weekends!

Pie -glorious PIE. The squarest pies in the land. Square Pies has a funky branch in Spitalfields market. Square Pies is a meal in a box-super fast & efficient food! I tried the jerk chicken with soft mash and hot gravy, it was pretty good-not the most amazing I've ever had-I prefer Eat, they do nicer pies!.... But give it a try..they have lots of fillings-they do Steak and Kidney, Mushroom & Asparagus..Lamb & Rosemary...and have mushy peas aswell...If you've been let me know what you think...I rate Square Pies >>>2.5 stars..!

MAMOUNIA LOUNGE LEBANESE

Mamounia, Knightsbridge, is one my favourite places to eat in London-its a chic and glamarous lebanese restaurant and lounge. With beautiful interior-and private seating with gold drapes, gorgoues and funky bar with stunning decor.....
The starters are a bit on the small side, but extremely tastey, I loved the spicy sausages! The mains, I tried the lamb tagine with couscous, its a massive portion-really yummy!
The USP is definately the drinks, the best drink on the menu is the Raspberry mohito, where you can add crazy shots, if your stressed out add- de-stress, if you want to cleanse add -detox, if you are feeling down add-energy, if you need some add -the female or male aphrodisiac...! Lol...The staff are friendly, fantastic ambience, and its about £40+ per head-bit pricey-but its expected in this location...I love Mamounia-5 stars all the way! x

PALMS PALACE

This is quality middle eastern food located at the heart of Edgware road. I have come here a few times to grab some lunch, the mixed grill is really good, always get a fatoush salad and the spicy potato is my favourtist! They do nice fresh juices that compliments the rich food. Try the lentil soup-its really tasty-not bland...service is pretty good, an all round pleasant experience.
Rate Palms Palace 3.5 out of 5 stars.
Its good stuff!

TAS FIRIN TURKISH

Whenever you are in East London, and fancy Turkish food, pop in Tas Firin. Its like a fast food restaurant, and to be honest it doesnt look like much from the outside-but the food is soooo delicious. The mixed grill was my favourite and lamb pizza was scrumptious. Not so much amabience in this place-but the service is okay and staff are welcoming...and its cash only by the way! 3 stars! ***

TINSEL TOWN

Want a mikshake? Check out Tinsel Town-if you have not been-where HAVE you been?
24 hour American diner it does it exactly what it says on the tin! It's not good for your waist line-but it dont matter..lol....go and have a VIP Cookies 'n' Cream shake-with Oreo Cookies topped with chocolate sauce, whipped cream, Smarties and a chocolate flake- one of my favourites....its sooooooo yum! The food menu is wow.... all halal too... But I do prefer the shakes and deserts than the food! Love Tinsel Town!, Bayswater Rocks....5 stars for the milkshakes x

JACKS DINER

Jacks is a trendy restaurant/diner/cafe.....in QueensPark, serving their famous all day and night breakfast....The vibe is chilled and relaxed and have a really nice terrace bar, the service is good, and the price is a bit pricey but reasonable!! They offer a good mix of food-so you wont get stuck on what to order-they do everything for everyone, they do paninis, jacket potatoes, sheperds pie, omelette, hashbrown, florentine breakfast, chicken ceaser, steak, burgers, red thai chicken curry, salad and lots lots more....I rate Jacks 3.5 out of 5 stars....fab place!

DEL AZIZ WESTFIELD

Del Aziz located in the hustle and bustle of Westfield, looks great from the outside and in, but little to my knowledge was one of the worst places I have ever been to......the staff dont know anything and are so rude, the food is overly priced, their portions are tiny and the outside sheesha service is absolutely horrendous. Dont go there!
If you have been recently...tell me what YOU think?
Zero ratings from me! lol
If you are in Westfield-check out The Meat & Wine and Co....brilliant steakhouse and its all halal as well! x

FUNKY BROWNZ TOTTENHAM COMING SOON

COOKIES & CREAM

Cookies and Cream is East london's best ice cream and desert parlour located in Mile End. They do my favouritre bubblegum flavour ice-cream, warm waffles, caramel tarts, chocolate fudge cake, oreo shakes, pancakes, hot apple pies, cheescakes-and the list is endless......
A young crowd but the deserts are to die for! I always get a take away when I am in the area!

LAYALINA LEBANESE CUISINE

Layalina is located in the stylish Beauchamp place in Knightsbridge, offering fantastic modern lebanese cuisine in a sophisticated setting. I came here for my birthday drinks and food, and must say had a great time. The venue itself is super slick, with blue spot lights and black marble flooring, there is a large down stairs area with stage for belly dancing. The food is delicious, we had hot and cold mezzes, the houmous was really tastey and the vine leaves! The service was spot on and were treated with genuine care and attention. I recommend Layalina for a special occasion dine out treat! Love it!  I rate Layalina 4 stars out of 5.....x
